How we handle your information
Magadh Consultants (Pty) Ltd ("Magadh", "we") respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect through www.magadhconsultants.com and how we use it.
What we collect
- Enquiries you send us: your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), the platform and service you're interested in, and your message.
- Chat questions: the website assistant answers from a fixed set of replies in your browser. What you type there is not stored or sent to us.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and running.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details only to respond to you, understand your needs and arrange a discovery call or proposal. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who processes it for us
- Google Firebase Hosting serves this website.
- Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Apps Script and Gmail) receives contact-form submissions, stores them in our enquiry register and hosts our email.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that contact-form submissions come from a person rather than an automated bot. It processes technical signals from your browser for this purpose only.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google.
Some of these providers process data outside South Africa. We rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting engagement, and as required by law. After that, it is deleted.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we process it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
